Recurring Problem

When you make character templates for a points based character generation system, you often find that the players make the template with no variation or personalization.

I have yet to find the magic combination of words that explains that it's a guide rather than a command.

Well, at least for the people who need it explained.

The players that don't need it explained already knew it and made their character accordingly.
