Variate The Ammo

Ammo in GURPS is not a fixed stat item...

There's actually rules for things you encounter everyday.

Normal everyday 9x19mm ball ammo is:

2d+2 pi Damage.
160/1,800 Range.
8 ST
0.026 WPS.
$0.30 CPS.

Hollow-Points are:

2d+2(0.5) pi+ Damage.
160/1,800 Range.
8 ST
0.026 WPS.
$0.30 CPS.

+P ball is:

2d+2 pi Damage.
176/1,980 Range.
9 ST
0.026 WPS.
$0.45 CPS.

You can combine some upgrades.

+P HP is:

2d+2(0.5) pi+ Damage.
176/1,980 Range.
9 ST
0.026 WPS.
$0.45 CPS.

Anything can be made match ammo too!  Multiply cost by 1.25 and you get a +1 to Acc.

So match +P HP would be $0.56 per shot.

Going subsonic changes ball to:

2d+2 pi Damage.
128/1,440 Range.
8 ST
0.026 WPS.
$0.39 CPS.
and adds a -1 to hearing rolls.

Subsonic hollow points:

2d+2(0.5) pi+ Damage.
128/1,440 Range.
8 ST
0.026 WPS.
$0.39 CPS.

Frangible rounds are:

2d+2(0.5) pi+ Damage.  No overpenetration if target has DR (p. B408).
144/1,620 Range.
8 ST
0.026 WPS.
$0.45 CPS.
